There are a lot of pieces set up for this year's Home Show. It will run from April 1st to 30th and will feature grid wide creators. We will be featuring Japanese-inspired furniture. Click here for more information about The Home Show.
The first piece was a collaboration between Kamayari and u10. The mesh was done by Kamayari and the artwork was had drawn by u10. This piece is a called a Byobu which is a Japanese screen that originated in China. The literal term for it is "wind wall" and it was created to help block drafts in homes. It continued to grow in popularity to where samurai lords would display the screens in their homes as a sign of their wealth and power. The colorful screens would help bring light into the dark castle and homes back in the period.
